Transfer Medyka — Lviv

The Medyka–Lviv transfer is about 90 km. The Medyka–Shehyni crossing is the first thing on the road, and after it the route continues through Mostyska to Lviv.

It suits travellers who have already reached Medyka — for example by train or bus to Przemyśl and then on to the border — and want to continue to Lviv in a private car instead of looking for a seat on public transport.

This route uses the Medyka–Shehyni crossing, between Medyka (Poland) and Shehyni (Ukraine). You leave Poland and enter Ukraine at the Medyka–Shehyni crossing.

A private transfer changes what happens around the border: you stay with one driver and one vehicle for the whole journey, the driver knows the road to and from the crossing, and you do not have to arrange separate transport on either side. Passport and customs checks still apply to every passenger, and each person is checked individually.

Waiting times at the border vary during the day and the week. We do not promise a fixed figure: before you set off, check the live queue information published by the border services of both countries.

The main advantage of a private transfer is a flexible schedule that fits around you. We plan comfort and coffee breaks every 2–3 hours at large, modern service stations. If you need one, you can always ask the driver for an extra rest stop.

The route is short, so a long break is rarely needed, but you can ask for a stop in Mostyska after the border.

The driver cannot decide whether a passenger may cross.

Keep your documents in hand luggage, not in the boot, so you can show them quickly when asked.
