Route overview
The drive from Warsaw to Chełm (Chelm) is about 235 km and takes about 3 hours. It follows the S17 and S12 expressways, with Garwolin passing by after about 1 hour 10 minutes and Lublin after about 2 hours 5 minutes. After Lublin only the last stretch remains to Chełm, and one car takes you the whole way.
The car collects you at any address in Warsaw, whether a hotel, a station or an airport, and brings you to the door in Chełm. People use this route to go home or visit relatives in the east of the Lublin Voivodeship. One practical point: the road runs through Lublin and on to Chełm, so it is the S17 first and the S12 after it.

Stops along the way
The main advantage of a private transfer is a flexible schedule that fits around you. We plan comfort and coffee breaks every 2–3 hours at large, modern service stations. If you need one, you can always ask the driver for an extra rest stop.
Plan the break roughly in the middle of the route, between Garwolin (about 1 hour 10 minutes) and Lublin (about 2 hours 5 minutes). The S17 expressway has service areas and large fuel stations, so coffee and a restroom stop need no detour. Ask the driver if you would like to stop more often.

Luggage policy
How many suitcases fit depends on the vehicle: the capacity of each one is listed on our fleet page. Tell us about your luggage when booking and we will pick a car with enough room for both suitcases and hand luggage.
What to tell us in advance:
Oversized items — skis, a bicycle, a pushchair, a musical instrument or medical equipment. We will choose a vehicle with a suitable boot.
Child car seats:
Certified car seats and boosters for children of any age. Just mention it when booking and we will have the car ready for your arrival.

Travelling with pets (pet-friendly)
Cats and dogs of any size are welcome: S — 3.5–6 kg and 18–20 cm at the shoulder (a chihuahua or a cat), M — 6–15 kg (a French bulldog), L — 15–30 kg (a Labrador), XL — over 30 kg (a St Bernard). S and M pets travel in a certified carrier, L and XL in a protective car hammock with Isofix fastening. The cabin is thoroughly prepared and cleaned after every such trip.
We do not carry snakes, spiders or other exotic animals.
