Route overview
From Modlin the drive to Chełm (Chelm) is about 290 km and takes about 3 hours. The first landmark is Warsaw at about 30 minutes, then Garwolin at about 1 hour 5 minutes, and Lublin at about 2 hours 10 minutes. The roads are DK7, S17 and S12, in that order, and there is no change of vehicle between them: it is one continuous transfer.
Your driver picks you up at the terminal of Warsaw Modlin Airport (WMI) and takes you to any address in Chełm. It works for travellers who landed at Modlin but live or stay in the east of the Lublin Voivodeship. One practical point: Warsaw is the first landmark, already at about 30 minutes, and the rest of the way to Chełm runs past Garwolin and Lublin on the S17 and S12 roads.

Stops along the way
The main advantage of a private transfer is a flexible schedule that fits around you. We plan comfort and coffee breaks every 2–3 hours at large, modern service stations. If you need one, you can always ask the driver for an extra rest stop.
The most natural break comes around the middle of the trip, after Garwolin at about 1 hour 5 minutes and before Lublin at about 2 hours 10 minutes. Once you reach the S17 expressway, its service areas and large fuel stations are available for a longer pause. On the DK7 section at the start, rely on the larger towns on the way.

Luggage policy
How many suitcases fit depends on the vehicle: the capacity of each one is listed on our fleet page. Tell us about your luggage when booking and we will pick a car with enough room for both suitcases and hand luggage.
What to tell us in advance:
Oversized items — skis, a bicycle, a pushchair, a musical instrument or medical equipment. We will choose a vehicle with a suitable boot.
Child car seats:
Certified car seats and boosters for children of any age. Just mention it when booking and we will have the car ready for your arrival.

Travelling with pets (pet-friendly)
Cats and dogs of any size are welcome: S — 3.5–6 kg and 18–20 cm at the shoulder (a chihuahua or a cat), M — 6–15 kg (a French bulldog), L — 15–30 kg (a Labrador), XL — over 30 kg (a St Bernard). S and M pets travel in a certified carrier, L and XL in a protective car hammock with Isofix fastening. The cabin is thoroughly prepared and cleaned after every such trip.
We do not carry snakes, spiders or other exotic animals.
